Cleaning

We recommend professional dry cleaning for most LUANDA pieces. Always inform your dry cleaner of any delicate embellishments, embroidery, beads, crystals, feathers, or specialty fabrics.

Beading & Embellishments

Handle embellished areas with care and avoid pulling, rubbing, or placing pressure on delicate details. Due to the handcrafted nature of certain pieces, occasional loosening of individual beads may naturally occur over time.

Steaming & Ironing

Use a garment steamer on a low setting and keep a safe distance from delicate fabrics and embellishments. Avoid placing an iron directly onto beads, crystals, embroidery, or other decorative elements.

Storage

Store your LUANDA piece in a breathable garment bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Heavily embellished dresses should preferably be stored flat when possible to prevent the weight of the garment from stretching delicate fabrics.

Wearing Your Piece

Take extra care around jewelry, handbags, and rough surfaces that could catch on delicate fabrics or embellishments. We also recommend applying perfume, hairspray, and body products before putting on your garment.
